Party Illegal is excited to finally welcome Raleigh house music legend Marshall Jones to our fine city. With over 15 years experience, Marshall Jones is a wellspring of knowledge about the history and the culture of the house music scene. DJ Shahzad is a long time pillar of the Durham music scene. He is the resident dj for Toon and the Real Laww, can be found at numerous Runaway Clothing events, and has the music selection and scratching abilities to hang with the best. He sets the tone for the area, and we can't wait to see what fresh cuts he has in store for us.

Party Illegal and Durty Durham organizer Treee City's original productions have just been getting better and better. He is the master of the beat cypher, with lead roles in both Foundry in Durham and the more international Top Cats. Last time he played Illegal he dropped a set of entirely North Carolina tracks on us. Durham would truely not be the same without his tireless enthusiasm and organizational prowess.

Caravansary album by the Black Rock City Allstars
This year's Black Rock City Allstars album Caravansary is free to download as a gift to every one. This album is amazing and we feel honored to be a part of it. The track featuring L. Cooper and Adisa McKenzie is here. It was amazing to perform this song out at Burning Man because there was rain, hail and lightning early in the week, quite a phenomenon for the desert in August. Enjoy!

It was a beautiful sunny day in Virginia Beach this last Saturday. Adisa McKenzie on vocals, L. Cooper on vocals and percussion, Joseph on saxophone and N8 on the knobs and buttons. What an incredible day and night.
